Film reviews of latest releases. I follow the classic 4 star Roger Ebert path to determine the quality of a film.
- Note: There are 5 different elements that need to be analyzed separately when determining the quality of a cinematic work, in my opinion:
1. Direction
2. Plot
3. Performance
4. Entertainment
5. Appeal
The last one refers to how many types of audiences can the movie make its message known - the less categories it appeals to, the lower the rating goes.
Add all the five ratings together and divide them for their grade average and the result is the overall quality of the film, which can range from absolute zero (which means irrefutably sh*tty) to a Platinum Rating (a perfect four star rating, a true masterpiece - which can change lives and get one's head out of his rear end).
